Best line from Bryan Adams tonight ” What is this place? A used parking lot?” Yes, Queens Hall was a crap venue, with awful acoustics. I had the misfortune to go there 3 times.

Well i was there and was wowed by Mr Adams. Seem to remember that he encored with an acoustic number just him and the guitar. I thought it was magic.
Later saw Lizzy and a few others. Atmosphere was always great at the Queens hall. Allegedly, John Strong’s Dad built the staging in there.
I was there that night. Came up from Brum having seen him at NEC earlier in the tour. I thought we had bought seats in a prestigious concert hall so the venue , which had been a bus station(?), was a surprise to me. From memory, when referencing the venue, Mr Adams also said “Come on Leeds, you can do better than this!”
Great concert and fun to mix with the bands and crews in the Dragonara Hotel afterwards.
