Headliners was Zodiac. Again,before this show,i didnt know anything about the support band. What can i say? The Wonder Stuff were great. So much better than Zodiac!! I remember saying to some friends that the Wonder Stuff would soon be big…yep,it happened!

I wasn’t in a good mood for this one (Think i’d recently slit up with a GF maybe) . After the greatness of Newcastle City Hall, tiny room compared to Wembley Arena, seeing them in this shed, pretty much to the back of venue, just wasn’t any good. Years later i found a boot of the show & i’m surprised how good it sounds in this cavern of a place

I finally got to see Heart after all those years. This was the only small place on the tour, so it made it more special. I did try to hang outside before the show in the hope of catching the band, but no such luck. (Also i think being typical American rock stars, i doubt they woulda chatted etc). Brilliant gig. My only complaint would be that it just wasn’t loud enough! But the set list was amazing.
