Stamford is only about 50 minutes drive away & as it was cheap entry, thought i’d check it out. The support acts were ok & they seemed to have brought their crowd with them 😉 Coutesans were exactly how i’d expected they would be. I do like the venue, just a shame a few more didn’t turn up. If people don’t support the gigs, they will stop eventually…
I’d been wanting to see Hoobastank for yonks. When they announced UK dates, with such a great line-up, it was a given i’d go ! AAF were better than i thought they’d be. P.O.D. were pretty great & cool to see Sonny come up to the barrier to touch base. Hoobastank were exactly what i was expecting. A great show & will for sure see them again if i get the chance 🙂
As ever, both Romeos Daughter & FM deliver great sets. Just quality bands. No need to say anymore, you know what you’re gonna get 🙂
Trash Talk, Feed The Rhino, Heart Of A Coward, Asteroid Boys, Bossk, Baby Godzilla, Raging Speedhorn, Palm Reader, Creeper, Yards. A day of some right heavy shit ! 🙂 Those guys in Baby Godzilla are mental….
A good night out. Really enjoyed The Pearl Hearts. They were different.
Bit of a rare thing for this gig : I wasn’t driving ! Tonight it was Cats turn to drive, so it was a whole new experience for me lol. I’ve got to admit, i DO prefer to drive myself because of two reasons : 1. I like to be in control, 2. I really don’t trust many other people to drive ! So yeah, it was a bit of a test for Cat 😉 Well, i must say, she passed with flying colours, so i’d certainly go with her again if need be. Tonights gig was a pretty damn heavy one! All new to me. I enjoyed the night & i’d say i preferred the Cancer Bats set. Would certainly go see them again (same goes for WSS).
You just know what you’re gonna get with Therapy? : A great night out !
I just love Anathema. It’s music that really moves me 🙂 Never seen a bad show by them.
Bit of a strange day for me tbh. Coolest thing was meeting my mate Andy Avery for a pint before the show(As i’d not seen him for a while). I dunno if it was because the show was at Wembley or other stuff, but, i couldn’t fully get into the show. I’ve certainly seen SOAD better than they were tonight.
 
Whilst what they do is good, i was just left a little cold by Vega. Maybe i wasn’t in the right frame of mind that night, but, it just didn’t do it for me. As for Mia Klose, i’ve now seen her once….& that’s enough !
