We met Claire at this one. She was working with Starset. They came for a drink with us before the show. Really enjoyed this night. Being late getting in, we couldn’t get front row, but fortunately we managed to get some seats at the side which are raised, so had a great view. It was a great show. Afterwards, we again briefly saw Claire in a nearby bar . She came in with the stage dancers.

We all like to enjoy gigs in our own ways. My mate Chris went with me to this & he typically had a good session in the boozer before the show. We parked in the usual place, multistory next door, but afterwards, he was so hammered he couldn’t find the car haha

This was brilliant fun ! On the main floor, in amongst it all. Totally different experience to the Sheffield show, but, they both had their merits. I had the best of both worlds with the different viewing places 🙂

As far as i was concerned, i had the perfect seating position for this show. No one in front to block my view & close enough to get some great shots. What a brilliant show it was ! Loved both Korn & Slipknot, but didn’t like King 810. Also a mate sneaked his video camera in so he later mixed my footage with his & we now have a great document of the evening 😉

The Cure. What can i say? Sheer utter brilliance ! I’ve only managed to see them live twice, but , both times have been mind blowing. I just love them. I only managed to get on the 2nd row,despite getting there (what i thought was) really early. But it was just such a fantastic night!
