I’d been aware of Skillet for a while, but, had never seen them before. I loved this show. I’m not into the religious stuff, but the band do rock. I really want to see them again ๐
My first time at this place & i like it. A decent size “little” room. I got chatting with one of the locals (as you do lol) & found out a bit more about the place. Also had a chat with the venue owner/promoter & he seemed impressed we’d traveled for the gig. It really was a fun little show. My mate Winnie enjoyed it. Want to see another gig there !ย
This was one of those shows where i only made one small video clip ; i was just so into this show. It was fantastic. Funny thing was, as i don’t like the drive to Manchester, it was a last minute thing i decided to go. It was so worth it. Of course, i was the first person there. Whilst waiting i saw & had a nice chat with Danny D., said hello to Ally when he was off to meet some mates. I stood chatting to Jakeย of Crobot, for a good 10mins, without knowing who he was. I let Tina jump the queue & join me as she’d had a problem with bringing the wrong ticket to the show ! I met a whole bunch of VMs fans tonight, so, that was also very cool. It was just a killer gig & a shame they did not film it as it was so special. So, the effort with travel etc was more than worth it for me. Roll on the next VMs tour…
A funny little gig this one. There was someone there who used to be a friend (from school days) & he did his best to avoid any eye contact with me. Guess it’s hard to say you’re sorry. Well, idiots aside (no pun intended) Miles & Erica were great. Enjoyed the show a lot.
Edit/update 2016 : Myself & the old school friend are now back in touch. So far, so good. ๐
I like this tiny venue ! It was a good night out. Chris had a few drinks as well ๐
