Got there early & damn was it cold outside ! Whilst being the “one man queue”, skin was walking by inside & she saw me. Next thing i know, she’s gesturing to security to let me in. Good on ya gal 🙂 Had a little chat with her & Stumpy, then watched the soundcheck. Oh yeah, Stumpy took me backstage to get a pass so that security didn’t kick me out. Whilst getting it, i noticed the tour itinerary books (Items that only band members/crew have that give all info of the tour venues etc)….& he noticed i was looking “…& no, before you ask, you cannot have one ! 🙂 ” He knows me so well. (I’ve already tracked down a few from the ’97 tours etc. They cost a bit, but, are very rare & interesting items to have)

Great memories from this tour. Even though Earthtone9 were the headliners, most night, people would often leave after Guano Apes played. There was a buzz about GA. They were bringing in the audiences. Couple of stand out memories from the first night in Norwich : When they were setting up the merch desk, Ian Watkins (vocalist of Lostprophets) asked if he could put their badges on the table “That’s all we have!”. It pains me to say, i actually did like Lostprophets…who would have thought Watson was such a sick cunt!?? A nicer memory, was going across the road to a cafe with Sandra & Henning. Sandra asked if she should tip them there 😉 Oh yeah, this was also where i passed over a bunch of Beatles bootlegs for Henning to give to Fabio (he’s a massive Beatles fan). Later, the whole band & crew went for a meal in town before the show. Ah such cool memories again 🙂 The gig was great. I enjoyed all bands…except Earthtone9 lol

The previous night they also played a “student only” gig here. Couldnt get tickets for it though 🙁 Today, i met an online  friend,Heather & we hung around to meet the band before the gig. What a cool bunch of peeps they are! Had a good old chat with Mark about the Little Angels days etc. Mark put Heather on the guest list…she hadn’t planned on seeing the gig, she’d just come to meet me….i’m sure if i’d met them the previous day i could have got in !! Got autographs,took some photos & had a good chat. It was my first time meeting Skunks,but, i automatically felt an instant connection to them. Great down to earth people.
