Yes, you read that correct. Melanie C as in from the Spice Girls ! I met Claire & Mel (Garbage travelling friends) for this one. Obviously, we got front row. Was quite funny when we saw the other Spice Girls turn up later on. The show? Well, not really great tbh. Her cover of the Sex Pistols “Anarchy In The UK” was just plain embarrassing.
This was a mad one. I just had to go down into that mental crowd. My mate Winnie, who went with me said ” When you went in, it was like you were parting the seas as you plowed through the crowd!” (Or words to that effect)
Does that VIP Laminate look a bit dodgy to you? Well, it IS ! A mate from Netherlands was following the tour & always got guest laminates. When he was at the Wembley show, he posted his pass to me as he hoped I’d try sneakily film the show. Well, I took the gf with me & I’d made another copy of the pass…colour photo copy & laminating at local print shop! So easy. They worked a treat. But I didn’t film the show as lost the guts to do it…
This was Skid rows first Uk gig. remember thinking how Sebastian Backs vocal raps were not a patch on Dee Sniders(Twisted sister)..obviously his source of inspiration… 😉 Around the time i also managed to get hold of a bootleg lp from a mate in Nottingham 
Around this time a bunch of mates used to go to “Lazers”rock club at Lincoln. After Sabbath, i drove to Lincoln,not Boston, to meet everyone at Lazers!! (+met the GF there & brought her home)
